I was once asked the following question by a headhunter –
“Why did you choose Information Technology for a career over Biotechnology?”
To which I replied –
Biotechnology is the by product of information technology, therefore information technology is superior to biotechnology.
I realize the idea for a new drug or treatment comes from individuals.
However, when its comes time to analyze ideas and implement them, the process is conducted within the constraints of information technology.
Put another way – Would biotechnology even exist without computers?
