Questions About The Google Certified Partner Program?

October 4, 2010

The following are answers to common questions often asked about the Google Certified Partner program:

1. What is the Google Certification Program?

2. What are the requirements for becoming a Qualified Individual?

3. I passed the exams. Now what?

4. How can I find a Google Certified Partner?

5. How can I obtain and use promotional credits?

6. How can I learn more about the program?

————————-

1. What is the Google Certification Program?

Members of the Google Certification Program are online marketing
professionals, agencies and other individuals — such as search engine
marketers (SEMs), search engine optimizers (SEOs) and marketing
consultants — who currently manage or want to manage AdWords accounts. To
become a qualified company or individual through the Google Certification
Program, you must have proven knowledge of the AdWords system and fulfill
certain advertising performance criteria.

2. What are the requirements for becoming a Qualified Individual?

To become a Qualified Individual, you must pass both the Fundamentals exam
and one of our three advanced exams, and you must agree to our program
Terms and Conditions. For more details, visit
https://adwords.google.com/support/select/professionals/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=12241.

3. I passed the exams. Now what?

If you’ve met the other requirements to become Individually Qualified in
the Google Certified Partners program, this is what happens:

– We’ll send you a confirmation email verifying that you passed the exams,
along with a certificate.

– We’ll create a Profile Page for you, which you can manage on the Google
Certification Program website. The link to your profile page shows clients
that you’re qualified in the Google AdWords Certification Program.

– You’ll receive promotional credits you can apply to the accounts of new
customers.

4. How can I find a Google Certified Partner?

Google Partner Search is an online searchable list of agencies that are
certified under the Google AdWords Certification Program. Advertisers
might use it to look for agencies to help them manage their AdWords
campaigns, or they may be just starting out and looking for help getting
started. To use Google Partner Search, visit
https://adwords.google.com/professionals/search/.

5. How can I obtain and use promotional credits?

Promotional coupons are one of the ways we help qualified program members
bring in new business. Google Certified Partners in the Google AdWords
Certification Program are eligible for these coupons, which are sent by
email once you have qualified. Our distribution method may change to an
online method but we will always inform you of any changes. To learn more,
