I have an offer on one of my domains from someone in Vietnam.
However they want to buy the domain with a Paypal account.
In the past, I had an unwarranted $5,000+ chargeback from Paypal for services rendered because the buyer was a thief.
I’m not interested in repeating that mistake or anything like it again with Paypal.
In case you weren’t aware of it, virtually any transaction processed via Paypal remains refundable for what seems like an open ended and indefinite amount of time.
I use Escrow.com to sell domains and Vietnam is on their no fly list.
Surely Escrow.com doesn’t do business with people in the short list of countries below because the problems and risk far outweighed the reward.
There are other services that apparently don’t have restrictions on doing business with Vietnam but could their lack of restrictions also be the result of their lack of experience too?

I have the same problem with a transaction with Vietnam. What did you do? My buyer wants to use an escrow company in Hong Kong. That makes me nervous.

I didn’t sell it to him especially after I received this his last email –
“Yes, or may we using paypal? I have Vietnam Paypal premier account, don’t worry!”
