Doesn’t Spelling Matter?

I was looking for some hotel information and saw the following AdWords ad with either the misspelling or typo  “3th Night Free”.

Whatever you want to call it, I am pretty sure the Rosewood Hotels Luxury Five Star Hotels and Resorts brand wouldn’t necessarily look highly upon misspellings and or typos being used in their corporate messaging.

John F. Kennedy 1961 Inaugural Address Google Doodle

Seems like a lot of doodles coming from Google this week.

The latest is the John F. Kennedy doodle commemorating his inaugural address 50 years ago to the day –  Jan. 20, 1961.

Kennedy’s address remains an iconic American speech and is the subject of Google’s Thursday U.S. home-page doodle.

Google’s logo is a word cloud constructed of words that Mr. Kennedy used on that historic day.

Paul Cézanne Google 2010 Doodle

Google is paying homage today to Post-Impressionist painter Paul Cezanne. Google announced the homage on their Twitter page, “Today is Paul Cezanne’s 172nd bday. To inform our homepage homage, we made a real oil painting first. Enjoy!”

Google has replaced the search engine’s logo with a painting in his honor.

Dangit!

Yesterday was a long day starting with a five mile run at 5:00 A.M.

I didn’t get to write my blog posts until around 7:30 P.M. last night.

However for the second time in the last year, I wrote a post but forgot to click publish!

Thus my blogging streak here at TimothyCohn.com has seen two days without a post since September 1, 2009 yesterday being the last one.

Fortunately, I have pressed publish each and every day since September 1, 2008 at my SearchMarketingCommunications.com blog.
